Argyle Children’s Theatre will present Freckleface Strawberry The Musical, a fun and touching family production based on the beloved New York Times bestselling book by celebrated actress Julianne Moore.
Created specifically for young audiences, the musical invites families to step inside the pages of the book and follow Freckleface Strawberry and her friends as they learn to “love the skin they’re in.”
Freckleface will do anything to get rid of her freckles—from scrubbing them with soap and caking on makeup to wearing a ski mask to school. As she navigates the challenges of fitting in, Freckleface learns an important lesson about embracing differences and recognizing what makes each person special.
With the help of her lovable schoolmates—including a talented ballerina, a cutie jock, a charming ditz and a kooky teacher—Freckleface discovers the courage to face her reflection and accept herself just as she is.
