Deer Park’s John Quincy Adams Continues A Dozen Years Of Math-A-Thon Donations

For the 12th consecutive year, Deer Park’s John Quincy Adams Primary School participated in the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Math-A-Thon under the guidance of math lab specialist Marianna Grieco, raising $3,700 for the cause. Students solved math problems to complete Math-A-Thon Funbooks, with sponsors making donations based on how many problems or pages the students completed, or a donation of their choice.

“The families at JQA are proud and happy to help children and their families at St. Jude,” Grieco said. “Over the past 12 years, we have raised over $70,000.”
