Students from the Let’s Make a Difference Club at Deer Park’s John F. Kennedy Intermediate School visited the Sunrise Senior Living facility in Dix Hills to bring some joy to the elderly residents. They read to the seniors, performed their musical talents and helped them to make a cute spring craft.

“The seniors were thrilled to spend the afternoon with the students, and the kids enjoyed talking to the seniors as well,” teacher Jacqueline Amato said. “This was our last event for 2024, and the kids have definitely ‘made a difference” this year!”
