At the Deer Park School District Board of Education’s Dec. 13 meeting, three Deer Park High School students – Lynn Fanfan, Gianna Sanchez and Carson Warkenthien – who study culinary arts at Western Suffolk BOCES’ Wilson Tech Center were honored. The three young chefs had showed off their skills by cooking and serving for the board of education members and district administrators at a BOCES holiday dinner.
Additionally, high schooler Zury Aguilar gave a presentation to the board on drone tech programs.
