On Dec. 8, Connetquot High School’s student government held its fourth annual Winter Spectacular event, welcoming the Connetquot community for the beloved, festive drive-through light show.
The Connetquot High School marching band played holiday songs alongside the track as cars exited the Winter Spectacular.
Students from each class and faculty volunteers set up themed sections of the show, each including students in festive costumes, giant inflatable decorations and myriad lights. Dressed in Santa hats and light-up necklaces, the marching band rounded out the show, standing by the exit to play holiday classics. As cars exited, traditional holiday characters waved goodbye to each car, wishing them, “happy holidays!”
