This weekend, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) visited Broome, Cortland, Tioga, Tompkins, Schuyler and Chemung counties during his fifth statewide campaign trip since announcing his bid for Governor of New York last month.
Today, Congressman Zeldin is traveling to Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties for campaign events.
On Saturday morning, May 8, 2021, Congressman Zeldin started off the day in Owego in Tioga County where he met with Tioga Republican Party County Chairman Don Castellucci, other local Republicans and community residents.
Later in the morning, Congressman Zeldin spoke to Shooters Committee On Political Education (SCOPE) in Montour Falls in Schuyler County.
In the afternoon, Congressman Zeldin joined Tompkins County Republican Party Chair Mike Sigler for a Meet and Greet with local party leaders, elected officials and residents.
Later in the day, Congressman Zeldin, his wife, Diana, and twin 14-year-old daughters, Arianna and Mikayla, joined New York State Senator Tom O’Mara and his family at the Hill Top Inn in Elmira, located in Chemung County. Congressman Zeldin and Senator O’Mara served together in the New York State Senate from 2011-2014.
