Congratulations to Alexander B, who on Saturday April 13,2024 successfully completed his Board of Review for earning the Scouts BSA rank of Eagle Scout!

Alexander started his trail to Eagle Scout in elementary school when he joined Cub Scout Pack 153, where he advanced through the ranks each year & in 5th grade earned his Arrow of Light. He then bridges over to Scouts BSA Troop 43 continuing to be an active scout advancing through the ranks being inducted into the Order of the Arrow ( BSA’s honor society)while balancing an active academic program, participating in several sports and other extra curricular activities. Although he has now completed all the requirements to earn Eagle Scout he plans to stay active with his Troop 43 & Pack 153 family supporting our community.

The trail to Eagle is a long one requires a commitment from the scout but also support from many others along the way. Thank you to the uniformed leaders, all the volunteers & families (current & past of both Cub Pack 153 charted by St Peter’s by the Sea, and Troop 43 charted by AMVETS Post 76, the charter organizations & their members, the Bay Shore School District (especially facilities & Principal Brown & his team at Gardnermanor), the Village of Brightwaters, and the entire Bay Shore Brightwaters community for all the support of the Scouts BSA program in the area that allows opportunity for youth.
