Clavin Welcomes Jurassic Quest to Hempstead Town – Invites Residents to Attend “Dino-mite” Drive-Thru Show!

America’s largest township will be taking a trip back in time to the Jurassic Era as Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin welcomes renowned dinosaur show Jurassic Quest to Town Park, Pt. Lookout. This drive-thru show is North America’s largest and most realistic dinosaur event and will feature over 70 life-like dinosaurs including the popular Tyrannosaurus Rex, Spinosaurus and Triceratops. The show will be held from October 2nd to October 11th in the parking lot of Town Park, Pt. Lookout (1300 Lido Blvd., Pt. Lookout).

“Jurassic Quest is an exciting opportunity for town residents to witness life-size replications of the thunderous beasts that roamed our planet millions of years ago,” said Clavin. “I invite everyone to check out this educational drive-thru expedition and learn all about our reptilian predecessors.”

Normally an indoor event, Jurassic Quest has been re-imagined into a drive-thru experience to continue educating wide-eyed attendees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Utilizing the spacious parking lot at Town Park Pt. Lookout, the event allows families to navigate the concrete safari from the comfort of their own personal vehicle. What’s more, attendees can listen along with an audio tour of the exhibit to further enhance the experience and learn all about the “dino-mite” attractions.

Tickets are available for a fixed price of $49 per car on the Jurassic Quest website at https://JurassicQuest.com. The show is slated to run from 11am – 8pm on October 2nd and will continue through to October 11th from 9am – 8pm. Each tour is estimated to be an hour long, and will feature actors and actresses along with the animatronic dinosaurs. The show is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Reserve a time slot today!

“Jurassic Quest is a great opportunity for residents of all ages to come and experience the incredible world of ancient dinosaurs right here in Hempstead Town,” noted Senior Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby.

“Hempstead Town residents have the chance to participate in this awesomely innovative show in a safe, socially distanced way, and I am ecstatic Jurassic Quest will be coming to our township,” said Councilman Bruce Blakeman.

“Jurassic Quest is such a unique show creating a portal in time for residents to catch a glimpse of the way the world was so many years ago, and I am thrilled the Town of Hempstead will be hosting this program,” commented Councilman Anthony D’Esposito.

“Not only does Jurassic Quest provide a palpable connection to the world of dinosaurs, but it also is a great opportunity for Hempstead Town residents to enjoy a family outing in a socially distanced environment,” said Councilman Dennis Dunne, Sr.

“Jurassic Quest offers something exciting for all and is a great way to spark an interest in history for many of our township’s young minds,” opined Councilman Thomas Muscarella.

“The Jurassic Quest exhibit is great for families looking for an educational adventure,” said Councilman Christopher Carini. “Life-like animatronic dinosaurs will offer an experience like no other!”
