Assemblyman Michael Durso (Massapequa Park), in partnership with Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP Suffolk) and the New York State Office of the Aging, recently held a free Medicare 101 Seminar at the West Babylon Public Library.
A trained Health Insurance Information and Counseling Program (HIICAP) coordinator from RSVP Suffolk covered the basics of Medicare, including Parts A, B ,C & D; Medicare Savings Program, Extra Help, and EPIC. The program also reviewed upcoming changes ahead of the Annual Open Enrollment Period.
