In honor of National Electrical Safety month, PSEG Long Island paid visits to Accompsett and Tackan elementary schools during the first week of May.
At Accompsett Elementary, workers on PSEG Long Island’s Mobile Electric Safety Unit were greeted with thunderous cheers and “thank you” signs by students. Each student was not only given an education on electric safety, but also hard hats to take home with them.
Over at Tackan Elementary, PSEG experts showed students how to be safe around electricity and how to keep others safe as well. The students became a certified, “Safety Sleuth.”
