
The Amityville School District is proud to announce that Amityville High School sophomore Jiselle Hale was selected as an exhibiting artist for the Long Island’s Best Young Artists exhibition at The Heckscher Museum.
Jiselle is also the recipient of the 2026 Renzo and Lynette Bianchi Scholarship Award ($400) within this exhibition. Now in its 30th year, this annual exhibition features 84 extraordinary works of art created by Long Island high school students from 63 schools. This year, 402 high school students submitted artwork. The final exhibition was juried by Heckscher Museum Consulting Curator Meredith A. Brown and guest juror Aaron Feltman.
The opening reception for this exhibition will take place on March 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Heckscher Museum of Art in Huntington. Student artwork will be on display at the museum from March 29 to May 3.
