Tanger Outlets Riverhead will host the North Meets South – Farms, Food and Drink Festival. The annual farm-to-table movement brings communities of the North and South Shores of Long Island together for a day full of delicious food and drinks. Guests will be able to sample and purchase provisions from local farms, try food from restaurants, talk to classically trained local chefs, meet food truck owners and purchase drinks from popular breweries, vineyards and cider houses. This family-friendly festival also features several children and teen activities, like life-sized yard games and live interactive entertainment.
Early Bird tickets are on sale now for $5 through May 30. Beginning May 31, tickets will be $10 online or $8 cash at the door, with children two and under admitted for free. The festival promotes networking the agricultural community, farmers markets and small businesses of Long Island to the community. It gives local families a place to meet local farmers, craft artisans, food truck owners and artists from the surrounding areas.
