Woodloch Pines Resort Takes Precautionary Measures Against The Coronavirus

Woodloch Resort is dedicated to the health and safety of our guests and staff. Since they first opened in 1958, their mission has been to treat guests like family, and it goes without saying that they are committed to doing so in good times and in bad. They are proactively monitoring the recent situation of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and are following best practice guidelines and hospitality service protocols issued by the CDC and World Health Organization. These guidelines can be found on their website under our FAQ section. As this situation rapidly evolves, they are taking the necessary steps to ensure that we are alert and prepared. They remain dedicated to keeping their guests in the know and well aware of our policies and procedures.

PROPERTY-WIDE CLEANING PROTOCOL:

Rest assured they are taking the highest precautions to maintain an immaculate environment. They have elevated our already aggressive sanitation measures to ensure the continued well-being of their guests and staff:

Year-round, they employ the use of hospital-grade cleaning detergents.

Enhanced stringent cleaning of public areas and touch points, especially those that are heavily-trafficked. This includes frequent disinfecting of handles, faucets, trash receptacles, elevators, buttons, keypads, luggage carts and counters.

They have increased the number of hand sanitization stations throughout their property.

They have mandated the use of gloves for our housekeeping teams.

As always, team members receive rigorous ongoing sanitation training.

Additional attendants put in place in public areas.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES:

They are reinforcing proactive steps that the CDC recommends to prevent the spread of germs:

Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

Use a disposable tissue to cover a cough or sneeze.

Avoid touching your face, especially your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects.

Stay home if you have flu-like symptoms.

RESCHEDULING POLICY:

They completely understand your travel concerns given the current climate. They are committed to ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of their guests and want you to feel welcome to reschedule your stay at a different time. If you decide to cancel your stay more than 24 hours prior to arrival, they will happily refund your deposit minus the $25 administration fee. You may also choose to reschedule for a different date without incurring any fees. This temporary cancellation policy will be put in place until April 30, 2020.

Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact one of their team members directly at 1-800-WOODLOCH, Option 1.
