West Islip High School’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter, accompanied by adviser Mrs. Krawczyk and business teacher Mrs. Morgigno, visited the headquarters of Arizona Iced Tea in Woodbury on Jan. 10. This exclusive opportunity allowed students to witness firsthand the dynamic operations of one of the leading players in the competitive beverage industry.

During the visit, students delved into the day-to-day functions of Arizona Iced Tea, gaining exposure to various company departments and interacting with seasoned professionals. The immersive experience provided valuable insights into the contemporary business model and showcased the strategies employed by the company to maintain high success in a fiercely competitive drink market.

A highlight of the visit was a tour of the facility, setting the stage for engaging discussions with four vice presidents who shared their perspectives on different aspects of the business. Chairman and president Don Vultaggio shared his own career journey, emphasizing the significance of building and cherishing relationships for success.

Students and teachers were not only treated to a delectable lunch but also had the opportunity to taste a variety of Arizona drinks. As a token of appreciation, everyone went home with a carton of assorted iced tea, hats, lanyards, and Arizona fruit snacks.
