On July 20, prekindergartners at Northeast Elementary School in Amityville participated in Water Activity Day at the school’s courtyard.
Students ran through sprinklers, played in the kiddie pools, danced with hula hoops, and blew bubbles. They also played several rounds of friendly water balloon games. After the students dried themselves off, they enjoyed water ice pops at the picnic tables.
