Upgraded Clubhouse Opens In Burns Park For Massapequa Coast Little League

Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino, Councilman Steve Labriola and Councilwoman Laura Maier joined with Massapequa Coast Little League President Craig Garland and local athletes to celebrate the completion of an upgraded clubhouse for ball players at John J. Burns Park in Massapequa. The clubhouse features meeting space for teams. John J. Burns Park serves as home to the Massapequa Coast Little League. In recent years, Town officials have upgraded turf infields, the softball field and t-ball field. Supervisor Saladino recently advanced plans to upgrade the grass 90-foot baseball field to turf. Additionally, the Coast Little League donated new batting cages, as well as net replacements for existing batting cages inside the park.
