Town of Oyster Bay Autism Walk Raises Over $4,000 for Autism Awareness

Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino, Councilwoman Michele Johnson and Councilman Tom Hand recently joined with colleagues in local government, Assemblyman Michael Durso and County Legislator James Kennedy to support the Town’s 13th Annual Walk for Autism held at John J. Burns Town Park. This walk has helped increase awareness for autism and supports those on the spectrum, and this year, more than $4,300 was raised to benefit the Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism & Developmental Disabilities, a dedicated facility that offers families comprehensive assessments, family support and updated information on autism research while also building awareness.
