Town Clerk LaMarca Offers Residents One-Stop Passport Services

To help residents looking to obtain new passports, Oyster Bay Town Clerk Rich LaMarca announces that his office offers full passport services by appointment at Town Hall North in Oyster Bay.

“Residents looking to apply for a new passport are invited to make an appointment at our Town Hall North office location to receive full assistance in executing your application,” said Town Clerk LaMarca. “We can help you with organizing your documents, obtaining a photo and submitting the documents for approval.”

Town Clerk LaMarca noted that residents can have their passport photo taken at Town Hall North, or can supply their own. Requirements for applying for a new passport include:

  • One 2×2 color photograph with a clear view of the applicant’s face against a plain white or light colored background. Photos are available for $10 at Town Hall North.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship –certified birth certificate, Consular Report of Birth Abroad or Certification of Birth, Naturalization Certificate, or Certificate of Citizenship.
  • Proof of Identity – Naturalization Certificate, Valid Driver’s License (cannot have been issued or renewed in the last six months), Current Government ID (city, state or federal), Current Military ID (military and dependents).

Town Clerk LaMarca has offices located at Town Hall North, 54 Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay and Town Hall South, 977 Hicksville Road in Massapequa.  In-person passport appointments are available at Town Hall North Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Residents can also visit the Town Clerk’s walk-up window at Town Hall South from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for assistance with a new passport application, however passport photos must be supplied by the applicant.
