Town And County Hosting Parade In Honor Of Massapequa Little League Champions

Hundreds of spectators will gather along Park Blvd in Massapequa Park to cheer on their hometown little league champions, including the record-breaking champions who participated in the Little League World Series. Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino and County Executive Bruce Blakeman, together with Massapequa Park Village Mayor Danny Pearl, are hosting a parade in honor of Massapequa Coast and Massapequa International Little League’s baseball and softball teams, all of whom have made history with amazing sportsmanship, dedication and perseverance.

Being recognized are:

  • Massapequa Coast Little League 12-year-old Williamsport team participated in the 2022 Little League World Series after winning the New York State and Metro Region Championships
  • Massapequa International Little League 12U softball team, New York State Softball Champions
  • Massapequa Coast Little League 11-year-old baseball team, New York State Champions back to back in 2021 & 2022

Wednesday, August 31st
5:00 p.m. parade start (ceremony immediately following parade)

Park Blvd, Massapequa Park
(parade kicks off at Lakeshore Dr & Park Blvd)
(ceremony at Park Blvd & Front St immediately following parade)
