In recognition of Black History Month, fourth graders at Tooker Avenue Elementary School in the West Babylon School District researched influential African American figures. Students choose one person to research who helped to change history. They wrote their facts, along with a photo, on a card to create a timeline of Black History events. With the historical figures in place, the timeline is on display in the hallway.
