The R.C. Murphy Junior High School student government kicked off its annual Stuff-A-Bus initiative for the holiday season. Some of the elementary schools held “Stuff-A-Bus” toy drives leading up to the culminating event and collected toys, puzzles, books and games. The student government from Murphy Junior High School then rode in a bus around the district to pick up the many donations.

The toys will be delivered to the Gerald Ryan Outreach Center and Stony Brook Children’s Hospital to help children in need. The annual drive helped students get in the spirit of giving and showed them the true meaning of the holiday season.
