The Marilyn Lichtman Foundation Supports Long Island Non-Profit

Options for Community Living, Inc. received a generous $15,000 grant award from The Marilyn Lichtman Foundation. The grant will provide general operating support for Options outcomes-based programs. Options programs are focused on helping vulnerable Long Islanders overcome obstacles to healthcare and entitlement access, safe affordable housing, and socio-economic opportunities. Ultimately, allowing the individuals and families to live healthier, more stable and productive lives.

“Providing support for low-income, disabled, and homeless individuals and families is essential for building a compassionate and inclusive community,” said Yolanda Robano-Gross, Chief Executive Officer at Options for Community Living, Inc. “When we offer stable housing and access to vital resources, we not only address immediate needs but also create opportunities for long-term well-being and independence. Every person deserves the chance to thrive, and by supporting our most vulnerable neighbors, we strengthen the fabric of our society. The Marilyn Lichtman Foundation is committed to assisting those in need in our community and we are incredibly grateful for their support.”

The Marilyn Lichtman Foundation’s mission is to contribute funds to its community; to both those in need and those rendering aid and services. The foundation supports a broad range of community service providers such as Emergency Housing and Homeless Shelters, Food Banks, Police, Fire, Ambulance, First Responders, as well as other medical and human services providers.
