At the April General Meeting of the Suffolk County Legislature, Legislator Robert Trotta recognized the 2022 Kings Park Boys Basketball Team for winning the Suffolk County Class A Championship after a 15-year absence. Legislator Trotta said, “This is a bittersweet moment with the recent passing of the school’s beloved High School Principal Dr. Karen Lessler. I applaud your team spirit, commitment and drive.”
