Seventh graders at P.J. Gelinas Junior High School in the Three Village Central School District completed an interdisciplinary lesson that combined skills students learned in Spanish class, as well as in the library. Mrs. Mottola collaborated with the school librarian to have students computer code a self-portrait.

The seventh graders wrote about themselves and will present their projects in Spanish. They even used their Spanish language skills throughout the process to label codes while creating the computerized images of themselves.
