Sterling National Bank Charitable Foundation Helps Vulnerable Long Islanders Thrive

Options for Community Living, Inc. received a $5,000 grant award from Sterling National Bank Charitable Foundation. This award supports Options housing programs for homeless individuals and families living in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Through housing and case management programs, Options helps more than 2,400 Long Islanders annually.

“On a given night in January last year, there were 3,050 people experiencing homelessness on Long Island,” said Yolanda Robano-Gross, Chief Executive Officer at Options for Community Living, Inc. “Our programs help vulnerable people – individuals and families – who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless access and maintain decent housing. Sterling National Bank and its Charitable Foundation are committed to making a difference in the community. We are thankful for their partnership and support.”
