St. John the Baptist HS Supports Front Line Health Care Workers

The community of students, faculty and families of St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School provided lunch for the doctors, nurses and staff of Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip. “We are grateful for the sacrifices everyone on the front lines of this pandemic have made.” Said St. John’s Principal Mr. Biagio Arpino. “Providing lunch for their team is just one small way we can show our appreciation.”

Good Samaritan Hospital, a part of Catholic Health Services, and St. John the Baptist High School are partners in a variety of activities including visits and guest lectures from Health Care Professionals from Good Samaritan for students. Junior Tyler Layton and Sophomore Liam Dunn joined Principal Arpino to represent the St. John’s community.
