Members of the Kids Care Club at Tamarac Elementary School in Sachem spread the love this February by working on blanket donations. Students collaborated to make no-sew blankets during their before-school meetings. The blankets were donated to Good Samaritan University Hospital and the Islip Animal Shelter. Students were eager to help people, and animals, in the community through this service-learning project.
