The North Babylon School District community was all in on Oct. 19 for the 2024 homecoming celebration. From the vibrant parade through town to the excitement of the varsity football game, this year’s event was a true showcase of school pride, talent and unity.
The festivities kicked off with a grand parade through the streets and featured representatives from the entire school community, including members of the board of education, representatives of the NBTO and PTAs, cheerleaders and the high school marching band. The stands were packed with students, parents, alumni, and residents, all decked out in school colors. The team showed heart, making the community proud regardless of the final score.
At halftime, the focus shifted to recognizing the royal court and performances by the marching band and cheerleaders. This year’s king and queen – Samuel Lewis and Inauris Gonzalez – were crowned during the homecoming celebrations.
