The student government at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School in the Copiague School District is spreading some winter joy in January. Their latest initiative “There’s Snow Place Like DGE” was a schoolwide project spearheaded by the club. Each class designed a snowflake and wrote or drew one thing they loved about Deauville Gardens East. The student government members displayed the snowflakes in the hallways throughout the school.
