Seven Deer Park Student-Writers Honored In National Writing Competition

Seven Deer Park students were recently recognized by judges in the National Council for the Teachers of English writing competition, which awards eighth grade and 11th grade student writers from across the country.

Deer Park High School juniors Mohammad Fahad and Stephanie Sheeler were First Class winners, the highest designation. Also honored were junior Eadie Liu and Robert Frost Middle School eighth graders Arianna Ahmad, Vincent Cacciola, Victoria Hernandez and Cayden Zappola.

Deer Park High School juniors Mohammad Fahad, Eadie Liu and Stephanie Sheeler were recognized in the National Council for the Teachers of English writing competition.

“We are extremely proud of the talent and accomplishments of these students and look forward to what they write next,” Director of ELA, Reading and Library Justin Uliano said.
