Second graders in Ms. Will’s class at Tooker Avenue Elementary School in the West Babylon School District recently participated in a social-emotional learning activity centered around the holidays. After reading “A Wish to Be a Christmas Tree,” the students brainstormed different ways to be kind this holiday season and different ways to share a smile with someone. The students wrote their ideas on each of the ornaments, which were placed on their Christmas trees.
