Three Seaford UFSD students, all of whom are attending Nassau BOCES Barry Tech, earned a number of awards for their achievements. These exceptional scholars excelled in their respective fields of study and are well prepared to enter the workforce, or to continue their education at career colleges and technical universities.
All three students earned the Outstanding Student Award: Michael Caponi, who is studying Culinary Arts; Network Cabling Technician / HTI student Angel Diaz; and Alexander Protopsaltis, who is studying Computer Game Design and Programming.

Barry Tech is a career and technical education high school that offers over 40 hands-on courses designed to help students develop the skills they need to get a step ahead in their chosen career fields. Classes are taught in a state-of-the-art facility simulating real-world work environments that meet current industry standards.
