Scouts BSA Troops 43, 430, 327 And Pack 38 Thank Our Veterans

In honor of Veterans Day on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 2023, Troops 43 & 430 participated in the AMVETS Post 76 of Bay Shore’s Veterans Day Ceremony where we Thank and Recognize all members of the Armed Forces of America, both past and present for their dedication to the defence of our country and the preservation of our freedoms. The annual ceremony was held at Bay Shore’s Memorial Park.

Additionally, On Friday Nov 10, 2023 members of Troop 430 of Bay Shore along with Cub Pack 38 and Scouts BSA Troop 327 of Islip Terrace performed a beautification service project at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center to Thank our Veterans.

Although we are based in the Bay Shore Brightwaters area Scouts BSA programs are not bound by towns, we currently have members from various areas of the townships of Islip and Babylon. If your youth likes to camp and do outdoor activities we encourage you to arrange a visit with us or other scouting units to learn more about the program.
