Saladino, Johnson & Pravato Support Special Olympics Polar Plunge At TOBAY

Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino recently participated in the Special Olympics New York Polar Plunge, held annually at TOBAY Beach to benefit Special Olympics New York. All funds raised at the event support Special Olympics New York’s programs and promote awareness of people living with intellectual disabilities in New York. Proceeds help to provide year-round sports training and competition in over 22 Olympic-style sports for more than 66,835 children and adults with intellectual disabilities living in New York, giving them continuing opportunities at no cost to them or their families. Supervisor Saladino was joined at this great cause by Town Councilwoman Michele Johnson, Receiver of Taxes Jeff Pravato, Assemblyman Mike Durso, North Hempstead Supervisor Jen DeSena, Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder and Legislator Steve Rhoads.
