The Sachem East Drama Club stepped on stage to learn from a professional actor during a theater workshop on Oct. 4. Class of 1991 Sachem graduate Jeffrey Schecter went back to his roots to teach students a dance for their upcoming production of “A Chorus Line.” Schecter performed in the last Broadway production of “A Chorus Line,” making him a valuable resource for students as they prepare for the musical. Schecter has several other acting credits including a reoccurring spot on “Law and Order: SVU” and appearances in “Saved by the Bell: The New Class.”

Schecter then led students through a warm-up exercise before coaching them through one of their dances in “A Chorus Line.”
