Pictured: Students from Parliament Place Elementary School in the North Babylon School District were recognized for their participation in the Operation Safe Stop poster contest by Congressman Tom Donnelly.
The Suffolk County Legislature recently invited students from North Babylon School District to participate in the Operation Safe Stop poster contest. The contest seeks to raise awareness about driver safety when approaching stopped school buses. Parliament Place Elementary School student council adviser Mrs. Lenis encouraged members of the student council as well as her dual language students to participate in the program.
In recognition of their participation, Congressman Tom Donnelly presented the students with a certificate. Congratulations to the following students: Ethan Beltran, Ronnie Delaney, Jocelyn DiFabio, Antonella Escudero, Faith Francis, Angelo Garcia, Bennett Nolan, Frank Nunziato, Oliver Ramirez, Tristan Rampersad, Tyler Roberts, Liana Rogowski, Brayden Schmitt and Anthony Smith.
