Rainy, cloudy skies didn’t stop Bellerose Avenue and Ocean Avenue Elementary School families from showing their school pride on April 3 as cars paraded down streets with messages of hope and positivity painted on the windows.
Drivers and passengers waved from their cars to students anxiously waiting at the ends of their driveways to catch a glimpse of their teachers. Students held signs that read “We miss you” and “We’re in this together”. It was a wonderful display of school and community spirit.
