Throughout the month of May, Nokomis Elementary School in the Sachem Central School District collected cereal boxes to donate to St. John’s Food Pantry in Holbrook. This year, Mrs. Erb and Mr. Papagni’s fifth grade classes led the drive and collected 976 cereal boxes. Nokomis Elementary School has been supporting the local food pantry since 2011 with the cereal box drive, delivering 14,397 boxes in total.
