The Rocky Point School District administrators, staff members and board of education had a busy few months preparing for the 2023-2024 school year and took some time to celebrate several achievements.

On a recent tour of the numerous building and facilities updates, members of the board of education and administrators held ribbon-cuttings to symbolize new beginnings and to build anticipation with the promise of a successful future. They visited the new playgrounds and safety surfaces at Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School and Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School as well as the lower turf field seating area at Rocky Point High School to usher in the new spaces for the students of Rocky Point.

The Rocky Point School District continues on a path of excellence in guiding all students to meet their intellectual, physical and emotional needs, and especially the needs to inquire, learn, think and create.
