The May Moore Music Club at Deer Park High School’s May Moore Primary School recently presented “Frozen,” directed by Kristen Lombardo. The spectacular production, held in the school’s gym in front of family and friends, featured the talents of 35 second-grade actors.

The cast included Nicholas Colon as King Agnarr, Kallie Fabrizio as Queen Iduna, Victoria Reyes as Young Anna, Sophia Williams as Young Elsa, Aviel Samuel as Pabbie, Stella Fusaro as Bulda, Hayley Milbauer as Middle Anna, Teagan Phamphile as Middle Elsa, Angie Peraza as Anna, Isabellah Destina as Elsa, Jacob Garcia as Hans, Daniel Daal as Kristoff, Lincoln Fucci as Sven and Asa Hubert as Olaf.

“The May Moore Music Club works on a musical production once a week for one hour from October through March,” Lombardo said. “Although they are only second graders, I truly believe that any goal can be achieved if you believe in yourself as a teacher and have faith that your students can do whatever they set their minds to. This performance exceeded my expectations.”

“We are so very proud of our second graders and their performance in the play,” Principal Tammy Alcalde said. “They worked hard to learn the songs, choreography and lines for their performance, and together, they put on an amazing show. We would also like to thank Mrs. Lombardo for her dedication and love of her students and her exceptional work in directing this year’s play. It was simply magical.”
