Locust Valley Veteran Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Supervisor Joseph Saladino recently presented the Town of Oyster Bay Veteran Lifetime Achievement Award to United States Army Veteran and Silver Star recipient Anthony Bliss who served two tours in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne. Anthony is a proud member of VFW Post 347, American Legion Post 962 and the 101st Airborne Association. A Locust Valley resident, Anthony has dedicated his time in a multitude of initiatives benefitting veterans over the past 25 years. Supervisor Saladino presented Anthony with a Town citation, recognition medal and veteran pin while officially awarding him the Town of Oyster Bay’s 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award.
