Legislator Tom Muratore recently attended a Community Forum in his district hosted by Suffolk County Police Commissioner Geraldine Hart. The meeting was held at the Selden Fire Department.
The purpose of the forum was to keep the public informed and updated on current crime trends, statistics, and topics pertaining to public safety and the police. Also in attendance was the Inspector of the Sixth Precinct, Patrick Reilly.
Muratore had an opportunity to address the community members in attendance. “Having been in law enforcement for over 35 years, I understand how important it is to keep the lines of communication open between the police and the people they serve,” stated Legislator Tom Muratore. “Public safety is a number one priority to maintain a good quality of life for our residents. I thank Commissioner Hart for coordinating this event in our district.”
