Legislator Tom Donnelly Announces “Legislator At Your Library” Community Outreach Programs

Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly (D-Deer Park) is pleased to announce that he will be holding “Legislator at Your Library” Community Outreach Programs at the Deer Park and North Babylon Public Libraries during the months of September and November, providing a range of services to residents free of charge.

Community members can speak with Legislator Donnelly, receive Suffolk County Senior IDs and get documents notarized free of charge. He will be joined by the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office who will be providing Suffolk County Medical IDs and a “Shed the Meds” Safe Medication Disposal Box.

The “Legislator at Your Library” Community Outreach Programs will be offered at:

  • The Deer Park Public Library, Thursday, Sept. 7: 44 Lake Avenue, Deer Park, 11 am – 1 pm.
  • The North Babylon Public Library, Monday, Nov. 6: 815 Deer Park Avenue, North Babylon, 11 am – 1 pm

If you would like to have documents notarized, a licensed notary from Legislator Donnelly’s office will be present at each event. Please remember to bring photo identification.

“While I will continue to provide these services free of charge at my office, I wanted to give our local residents even more opportunities to receive access to all of the important programs offered by the county,” said Legislator Donnelly. “I am pleased to join with the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office to bring these services directly into our communities. I thank the Deer Park and North Babylon libraries for serving as host sites for these programs and encourage residents to drop by and visit.”
