Nassau County Legislator Joshua Lafazan (D – Woodbury) was among the dozens of regional leaders named to the Long Island Press Power List – a distinction which was celebrated during a reception at the Heritage Club in Old Bethpage on Thursday, June 29.
Hosted by Schneps Media, publishers of the Long Island Press, Dan’s Papers and Noticia, compiles this annual list to “recognizes the most influential individuals in the Long Island region. Honorees are being recognized for their commitment, impact, and influence on Long Island.” Proceeds from the reception benefitted the Family & Children’s Association.
“I am grateful each day for the opportunity to serve in public office and represent my community, and I am committed to working diligently to deliver open and honest government that works for everybody,” Legislator Lafazan said. “It is a truly humbling privilege to share this distinction with so many distinguished leaders in our region, and I thank Schneps Media for this great honor.”
