Legislator Flotteron Recognizes East Islip Teacher For Years Of Service To Education

Legislator Steven Flotteron recognized Paul McHugh, teacher with East Islip Schools for nearly 30 years, at East Islip High School’s Business Partnership Meeting. Mr. Mc Hugh is the Coordinator of The Teacher Center of the Islips, which teaches educators how to be better teachers. He is a Professor at Stony Brook University and Farmingdale University. His teaching repertoire includes; Economics, Digital Communications, Medical Terminology, Marketing, Wall Street Plus, Career Financial, Sports Marketing, Cisco 1-4, Intro to Occupations, Business Law, BABCA, Entrepreneurship and Systems Operations.

He pioneered the CISCO Program, The Business Academy and Medical Academy while at East Islip Schools. He is co-coordinator of School Business Partnership, designed to bring educators, businesses and students together to help create programs that help students be College and Career Ready and has been a member since its inception 26 years ago.
