Suffolk Legislator Tom Donnelly (D-Deer Park) joined enthusiastic Half Hollow Hills (HHH) School District students, parents, teachers and board members in honoring National Merit Scholar Semi- Finalists at a recent school board meeting.
Held on September 18 in the HHH High School East lecture hall in Dix Hills, the district recognized eight 2022 National Merit Scholar Semi-Finalists, with Legislator Donnelly presenting proclamations to Rayan Afzal, Daniel Dobin, Justin A. Florian, Aidan Joseph, Isaac Scott Kim, Hayley Morris, Jordyn Morris, Jayden Neidell, Stasya Selizhuk and Arnav
Singh.
“It’s always great to visit Half Hollow Hills to honor outstanding students for their academic triumphs,” said Legislator Donnelly. “I applaud them for their achievements, commend them for their dedication and congratulate them on a job well done. The entire community is so proud.”
