Labriola Partners With Local Scouts For Hometown Hero Banner Program

Ahead of Veterans Day, Oyster Bay Town Councilman Steve Labriola joined local Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Cub Scouts to deliver Hometown Heroes banners to veterans in communities throughout the Town of Oyster Bay. Earlier this year, banners were unveiled at parks throughout the Town to honor the service of local veterans and active duty personnel – both living and deceased.

“I am so proud to have brought this hometown hero community recognition program to the Town of Oyster Bay,” said Councilman Steve Labriola. “This veteran banner program is an excellent opportunity to honor the service and sacrifice of the brave men and women who both served and continue to serve in our United States Armed Forces. These banners serve as a stark reminder of the commitment to defend our freedoms and democracy that these amazing men and women displayed during some of the toughest times in our nation’s history.”
