“We are elated to begin warmly welcoming and serving the residents and visitors of Woodbury in New York this March,” said Kinka Family Founder and Chief Executive Officer James Hyunsoo Kim. “With our first two U.S. restaurants having such resounding success in Chicago, we are excited to explore the untapped market in Woodbury, as our brand continues to grow and flourish. The entire Kinton Ramen team has worked diligently to create a menu and experience for guests that highlights delicious food, energetic and upbeat style with friendly service.”

With more than 20 years of experience, Urata has developed Kinton Ramen Woodbury’s menu to create the highest quality ramen experience begins with the foundation of every bowl of ramen, the broth, which is made from scratch daily. At Kinton Ramen Woodbury, which serves lunch and dinner daily from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., pork and chicken broth are cooked for at least 20 hours to create the five delicious styles served: Original, Shoyu, Miso, Spicy Garlic and Spicy Jalapeno, which each include accompanying slices of pork belly that are torched for added caramelization and flavor or juicy chicken breast slices. Several shareable plates also available including Kimchi, Takowasabi, Ton Ton Don, Edamame, and the restaurant’s famous original and spicy Karaage.

Kinton Ramen Woodbury offers an inventive beverage program includes several offerings that pair perfectly with the restaurant’s traditional and modern cuisine. The menu features Kinton Yuzu Lemonade, Sapporo, hot and cold house sake, Japanese food-friendly wines and a plethora of creative cocktails such as Matcha Colada and Panache.

“We are already great fans of New York’s established respect and taste for Japanese cuisine,” said Paul Lee, Kinton Ramen Director of United States Operations. “It has been a dream for our team to bring Kinton Ramen to the U.S. and the journey ahead looks promising, especially in Woodbury. Our team looks to serve people happiness the way we best know how: with phenomenally great ramen.”
