In honor of Pi Day on March 14, James Wilson Young Middle School seventh grade math classes in the Bayport-Blue Point School District found circular objects outdoors such as storm drains, markings on the basketball court and more. They measured the objects’ circumferences and diameters to see that the ratio was pi.
