In Home Stretch of Coat Drive, Deputy Minority Leader Drucker Welcomes Plainview Library as Fourth Donation Drop-Off Site

Thanks to an overwhelming response from the communities of District 16, Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) proudly welcomes the Plainview-Old Westbury Public Library as a fourth drop-off site for his office’s fourth annual winter coat drive in support of the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless.

Now through Monday, Dec. 22, donations of gently used winter coats and winter accessories (gloves, hats, scarves, etc.) will be accepted at 999 Old Country Road, Plainview, 11803 during regular business hours. Supporters can continue to make contributions at the Syosset Public Library, 225 S. Oyster Bay Road, Syosset, N.Y. 11791; the Jericho Public Library, 1 Merry Lane, in Jericho, N.Y. 11753; and Always Orthodontics, 485 Underhill Blvd., Suite 306, Syosset, N.Y. 11791 during normal business hours through Monday, Dec. 22.

“With one week to go, we have already received 27 bags of donations at the Syosset Public Library alone, and this massive outpouring of generosity will make a tremendous impact for families in need,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “However, I’m thrilled to say we’re not done yet! It’s a pleasure to welcome the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library as our fourth donation site, and I encourage everyone to give what they can in our ongoing efforts to spread love, warmth, and hope throughout our region.”
